JCI Dhaka Cosmopolitan has taken different initiatives to create job opportunities for the under privileged and backward people in the city.
Apart from this, it has distributed ‘Green Cut’ vegetable van among several people, who have lost their jobs during ongoing pandemic.
JCI Dhaka Cosmopolitan President Saif Uddowlah inaugurated the ‘Green Cut’ project in the city’s Mohammadpur area on Thursday. The JCI has taken the initiative with the cooperation of the Sukarma Foundation.
The privileged people will be able to sell agri-based products across the Dhaka city through the ‘Green Cut’ van and will run their families, the organizers said.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Saif said, “Such initiatives will create employment opportunities for the distressed people and they will be self-sufficient.”
The JCI Dhaka Cosmopolitan has taken various projects for the backward people and it will continue in coming days, he added.
JCI Cosmopolitan Secretary General Chowdhury Golam Noor A Sani was also present.
