The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka yesterday (Sunday) placed Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) President Rajib Ahsan on fresh remand of five days in three cases. Magistrate Shahriar Mahmud Adnan passed the latest remand order in three sabotage cases filed with Shahbagh Police Station of the capital.
Meanwhile, the police produced the pro-BNP student leader to the court and sought 30 days remand in three cases, ten in each case, while the court granted two days’ remand each in two cases and another day in the remaining sabotage case after hearing.
