Three people were killed and 12 others were injured in three separate incidents in Keraniganj, Dhamrai and Laxmipur districts during a storm on Sunday evening.
In Keraniganj, a minor girl was killed and 10 others were injured as a wall collapsed on a tin-shed house during a storm at Imambari.
The deceased was identified as Riya Moni, 10.
Officer-in-charge of South Keraniganj Model Police Station Monirul Islam said a portion of the
wall fell on the house consisting of several rooms during the storm in the evening.
Riya died on the spot and 10 other members of some tenant families suffered injuries.
The injured were taken to Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital in the capital.
In Dhamrai, a man was killed and two others were injured as an electric pole collapsed on them during the storm at Mangalbari in Dhamrai upazila in the evening.
