Iftekhar Ahmed, a first year student of higher secondary certificate class secured first position in international public speaking competition throughout the country. The competition was held at Adamjee Cantonment College in Dhaka on Saturday.
Colonel Sadiqul Bari, principal of Jhenaidah Cadet College said, Cadet Iftekhar secured best position throughout the country in the competition. A total of 5,000 cadets from different educational institutions including 12 Cadet Colleges and 8 university students participated there.
He is going to participate in the international competition scheduled on May 9 to 13 in London in favour of Bangladesh. Participants from 62 countries will attend and compete the programme.
