Jayanto Chattopadhyay recites at IGCC

Indira Gandhi Culture Centre organised an evening of recitation by noted elocutionist Jayanto Chattopadhyay IGCC Centre, Gulshan in the city recently.
The elocutionist recited several poems—Ananda Bhoirabi (Shakti Chattopadhyay), Karno (Sabyosachi Dev), Ke(Jayanto Chattopadhyay), Dao Sorjo Dao Dhorjo (Kazi Nazrul Islam), Abedan (Rabindranath Tagore), Arjun Ubach (Moitreyi Bandhopadhyay), Snan (Joy Goswami), Karno Kunti Sangbad (Rabindranath Tagore) and more.
Jayanto Chattopadhyay is a proficient recitation and performing artist of Bangladesh.
Mr. Chattopadhyay was groomed in performing arts like recitation, acting, music etc. since his childhood during his stay in Kolkata as a member of “Agnibeena” under the auspices of the legendary recitation artist Kazi Shobyoshachi, he worked in the fields of recitation & performing arts and won several awards.
As an outstanding recitation artist, Chattopadhyay has immensely contributed in establishing recitation as a separate medium of performing arts in Bangladesh and popularizing the art form. He has also performed as a professional recitation artist in Mumbai, New York, Detroit, Florida, Paris and other cities around the world.
