Jatiya Hindu Mahajot demands three-day holiday for Durga Puja at Shibalaya

Jatiya Hindu Mahajot Shibalay Upazila branch created human chain in front of the local press club demanding a 3-day official holiday, strengthening security in temples, installation of CCTV cameras, on Friday.
General Secretary Prakash Kumar Pal, senior teachers Nitai Chandra Som, Subhar Kumar Chakraborty, Shambhu Kumar Sheel, organization members Jhantu Kumar Saha, Ashok Dutta Kala, Badal Das, Sarat Halder and others spoke under the chairmanship of Jatiya Hindu Mahajot Shivalay Upazila Branch President Ramananda Pal.
The speakers said that Sharadiya Durga Puja is the biggest festival of the Hindu community. The government has at least three days off for the Hindu community to celebrate and enjoy the 5-day official Durga Puja from Shashti to Dasami. Apart from this, it is also demanded to install CC cameras under government management to strengthen security in every temples.
