A three-member delegation led by Dr Tsuneo Nakajima, Founder of the Tokyo University and Graduate School of Social Welfare, Japan called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Thursday at the latter’s office of the university.
Other members of the delegation were Makoto Terada and Toshihiko Seto. Assistant Professor of the Institute of Modern Languages (IML) of DU Dr Mohammad Ansarul Alam was present on this occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programmes on language and social welfare subjects by the University of Dhaka and Tokyo University, Japan.
