UNB, Dhaka :Japan Under-21 Football team beat Bangladesh by 3-0 goals in the lone FIFA International Friendly match at Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Thursday. In the day’s match, after a barren first half, Japanese substitute midfielder Takuma Asano found the net in the 60th minute. Riki Harakawa provided a neat through and Asano, who took the field just a minute ago, flicked the ball home with a left-footer (1-0). Takumi Minamino doubled the margin in the 73rd minute. Forward Suzuki Musashi swerved the ball to Takuma Asano who fed Minamino to score past Bangladesh goalie Rasel Mahmud Liton, with a close range volley (2-0) Asano scored his second goal in the 75th minute with a quick footed drive after dodging the Bangladesh defense (3-0).
