Japan shocked at killings of BD nat’ls in NZ

Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Hiroyasu Izumi on Sunday expressed shock at the loss of lives of Bangladeshis in the deadly terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand.
He also condoled the aggrieved family members of the victims.
The Japanese Ambassador wrote to Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen in a message of condolences on behalf of the government of Japan and its people.
“Terrorism can’t be justified for any reason under any circumstance,” he said.
In close cooperation with Bangladesh and the international community, the envoy said, Japan is determined to stand up against terrorism and to overcome this difficult time.
On Saturday, Ambassador Izumi verbally conveyed to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina the condolences from Japan for Bangladeshis, who are victims of the terrorist attacks, according to Japanese Embassy in Dhaka.
