Investment Climate Improvement Affairs Senior Advisor of Japan Interntional Cooperation Agency(JAICA) Mr. Naoyuki Maekwa called on President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce Mahbubul Alam at latter’s office chamber on Tuesday.
Vice President of CCCI Jamal Ahmed, Director Mahfuzul Hoque Shah and Anjan Sekhar and JAICA Research Analyst Shihabul Alam were present during the courtesy call. Chamber President told the visiting delegate that Chittagong Port was known as Regional Business Hub as its location in between SARC and ASEAN and Chittagong a prime location for investiment for its geographical location.
He also mentioned about the economic zone of Anowara and Mirsarai where foreign investment is much expected from Korea, Japan and china. He said govt in the meantime.
