Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar called upon the followers of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to stay alert against the conspirators who kept themselves disguised with different identities.
“The people who were active to turn Bangladesh into a failed state after the brutal killing of Bangabandhu in 1975 are still waiting in disguise for another chance,” he added.
The minister passed the remark on Wednesday while addressing the discussion organized by the Telephone Shilpa Sangstha (TSS) at its office in Tongi to observe the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day as chief guest, said a press release.
He said Bangabandhu means Bangladesh and the defeated forces tried to kill Bangladesh through the assassination of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

“But, the defeated forces and local ally of Pakistan cannot forget their defeat and are waiting to swoop anytime,” said Jabbar.
Posts and Telecommunications Division Secretary Ashoke Kumar Biswas chaired the discussion, also addressed, among others, by National University Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Md Mashiur Rahman, TSS Managing Director Fakhrul Islam and Tongi Thana Awami League General Secretary Rajab Ali.
