Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) reached the semifinal of the Daffodil Inter-University T20 Cricket Tournament crushing Popular Medical College by a massive 187 runs at Daffodil University Campus in Savar on Saturday.
Batting first, IUB scored a huge 271 runs for 4 in stipulated 20 overs with SK Basit making 121 runs and Rahat Ibne Rashid 89 runs.
In reply, Popular Medical College managed only 84 runs for 8 in 20 overs.
The IUB will play the semifinal on Sunday.
