Vice Chancellor of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari on Sunday condemned in tough words the attack on Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) Professor Dr Mohammed Zafar Iqbal, said an IU press release .
He demanded the government to give capital punishment of the attackers at the quickest possible time, also hoping Iqbal’s early recovery.
Besides, IU Pro-VC Professor Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor Dr M Selim Toha, Islamic University Teachers’ Association (IUTA), Shapla Forum and Islamic University Journalists Association (IUJA) condemned the heinous attack on Iqbal.
