Associate Professor Dr M Sazzad Hossain has been appointed as the Chairman of Statistics Department at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia. IU VC Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari appointed him to the post for the next four years, an IU press release said on Saturday. Newly appointed Chairman Dr Sazzad will replace outgoing Chairman of the department Altaf Hossain Rasel.
