International Turkish Hope School has organized an Iftar Reception for its parents, faculty, Well-wishers and the other distinguished guests in the city recently.
The program commenced with a welcome speech from the Chairman of ITHS, Bedrettin Suata and a video highlighting academic excellence, achievements and the school’s active participation in cultural programs propelling the recognition of Bengali culture on an international platform.
Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation, Annisul Huq honoured the event as the Chief Guest.
Md. Motahar Hossain, Chairman Standing Committee for the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education was the Special Guest of the night.
Among the other guests were Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh Major General Aziz Ahmed, Chairman of the Daffodil Int’l University Md. Sabur Khan, Country Director of British Council Barbara Wickham.
Md. Motahar Hossain has addressed the audience with a moving speech. He narrated his own experience with the Turkish Community over the years and stated that both the citizens of the countries have always-brotherly relationships with each other despite all.
ITHS showed its appreciation and gratitude to the Chief Guest and Special Guests by presenting them with crests for their notable contribution to education.
The program was concluded with a Sufi Whirling (Semazen) performance along with a Sufi music.
