The construction of LG IT Academy for underprivileged children began on Thursday on JAAGO School premises in the city’s Rayerbazar.
Students of JAAGO School will learn about the using of computer. At the same time, hey will be able to know about various aspects of information technology. The children will get the opportunity to enrich themselves and be world class citizens through the academy, said a press release.
The construction will be completed by December 2016 and the LG IT Academy will be opened in the same month.
LG Electronics Bangladesh and JAAGO Foundation have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for establishing the “LG IT Academy” recently.
