Chattogram Bureau :
A new academic building of the renowned Ispahani Public School and College of Chattogram was inaugurated around 11:30 am on 2nd January, 2022. The building was named after Mirza Mehedi Ispahani. Mirza Salman Ispahani, Chairman of Ispahani Group and the governing body of the organization, inaugurated the new building which is equipped with modern facilities. Shereen Ispahani, director of Chattogram Grammar School and designer and architect of the new building inaugurated the Teacher- Student Centre of the building.
Managing Director of Ispahani Group, Mirza Shakir Ispahani, Chairman of PHP Group Sufi Mizanur Rahman,Vice President of Confidence Cement Limited, Mr. Rupom Kishor Borua, Former president of Chattogram Club, Mia Mohammad Abdur Rahim, Principal of Omar Gani MES College, A. N. M. Sarowar Alam, freedom fighter Jahurulul Islam Siddiqui, local councilor, Morshed Ali, Principal of Ispahani Public School and College and member secretary Lt. Colonel (retd) Mohammad Moinul Islam Chowdhury, teacher, faculties and other officials of the institution, head masters from other educational institutions run by Ispahani Group, senior staffs of Ispahani Group and media representatives along with other prominent personalities of Chattogram were present at the event, arranged on the occasion of the inauguration.
The program started with the welcome speech from the principal of the institution, followed by greetings from chairman of the organiation, Mirza Salman Ispahani.
He promised that Ispahani Group will continue to support the enlightenment of future generations by providing scholarships, spreading education, establishing science laboratories and other facilities with a view to turning them into ideal citizens of the country.
This institution was founded by the then Chairman of Ispahani Group, Mirza Ahmed Ispahani in 1979 with the dream- “Children will be the light bearer of the future and find success in life by following the true path”.
Since its beginning Ispahani Group has always been involved in the nurturing and enlightenment of the students by ensuring proper academic and extra-curricular activities of the students.
Under 4 houses a total of 12 clubs have been running the extracurricular activities to ensure mental growth and development of the students.
