Islamic Foundation (IF) has taken various
programmes to observe the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Mourning Day today.
The programmes include holding Qurankhawani and milad mahfils, offering special prayers, holding discussion on Bangabandhu’s life and works, providing free healthcare services, and arranging online competitions for students, said an IF press release.
Qurankhwani and milad mahfils will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Dhaka’s Banani graveyard, the Andarkilla Shahi Jame Mosque of Chattogram and in other mosques today.
A Qurankhwani and a milad mahfil will be held at the graveyard of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara of Gopalganj.
The IF will provide free healthcare services to people at its Agargaon head office, Baitul Mukarram Diagnostic Centre and all centres of Islamic mission today.
