Man slaughtered in Chuadanga

UNB, Chuadanga : A man was slaughtered to death by unidentified miscreants at Joyrampur village in Damurhuda upazila early Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Montu Mia, 40, a night guard of a local water body. Police and locals said a gang of miscreants, numbering 2-3, stormed the house of Montu at about 1:00am, chopped him with sharp weapons and later slaughtered him when he was asleep, leaving him dead on the spot.
