36 BNP men sent to jail in Jessore

UNB, Benapole :A district court on Sunday sent to jail 36 BNP leaders and activists in a violence case in Sadar upazila in November last year.Judge of the Senior Judicial Magistrate’s Court, Benapole, Maruf Ahmed passed the order when the BNP men surrendered before the court, seeking bail in the case.The court sources said some BNP leaders and activists torched several shops and vehicles after vandalising those and blasted bombs at Churamankathi Bazar in Sadar upazila on November 27, 2013.Later,...
