Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Md. Shamsul Arefin said Islam is the great religion and it never support the militancy and terrorism. He said those are conducting anarchy, violance in the name of Islam, they are the enemies of Islam and humanity.
He disclosed it while addressing the mussallis at Chandgaon Jame Mosque on Friday after Juma prayer.
Among others, Add. Deputy Commissioner Masudur Rahman Sikder, Addl. Deputy Commissioner (Rev) Abdul Jalil, Khatib of Mosque Moulana Nizamuddin, General Secretary of Mosque committee Nurul Amin chowdhury spoke on the occasion.
