Irregularities in recruitment MD of Mobarakgonj Sugar Mills besieged, appointment postponed

Contact basis workers of Mobarakganj sugar mills in Jhenidah have besieged Managing Director (MD) at his residence of Mobarakganj Sugar Mills complex since Wednesday morning due to irregularities and corruption in recruitment.
Collective Bargaining Agent (CBA) leader and General Secretary Atiar Rahman of Mobarakganj sugar mill workers union said, as per decision of BSFIC an advertisement for recruitment in 78 posts had been published on 03.12.2014 in the Daily Kaler Kontho.
A team of BSFIC reached at Kaliganj Mobarakgonj sugar mills and an interview of 78 candidates had been held on 04.05.15 and 05.05.15.
 Some 56 candidates for cane out station guard, 15 for center guard cum scale man, 03 watchmen, garden keeper 01, unload clerk 01 while a post for 01 primary school teacher and a post 01 for lab analysis. Of them teacher and the lab is new posts.
Leaders of CBA of the sugar mills demanded to appoint 76 contact basis candidates but appointed newly applicants taking a huge amount of bribe. Consequently, the contact basis candidates have besieged MD Delwar Hossain in his residence and stayed sit in in-front of his residence for two days. They will continue the programme until their demand is met.
On the other hand, due to chaos and demonstration over the recruitment, the postponed notice of the appointed candidates was hung on Wednesday afternoon as per 2188th board decision of BSFIC signed by General Manager (Adminin) Md. Shahidul Islam of MKSM.
On Thursday morning at around 10-30 am the workers led by CBA leaders brought out a demonstration in front of the residence MD and stayed sit in in-front of his residence. At the time MKSM workers union president Rabiul Islam, general secretary Atiar Rahman, vice president Anwar Hossain, spoke on the meeting.
A contact basis candidate Hanif Mia said, he had been serving as a contact basis worker for 8 years. If he is not appointed this time he will be jobless. Another candidate Kamal Hossain said, he is serving for 8 years. But MD is trying to recruit new candidates taking bribe. They demand their due justice.
Delwar Hossain MD of the Sugar mills said, if quota is maintained like freedom fighter , some contact basis candidates might be dropped. Fearing this drop some contact basis candidated led by CBA leaders are trying to tarnish my image. He turned out about taking bribe.
