Chairman of Chittagong Development Authority has made irregularities in allotment of plots secretly without the proper decision of the board members as alleged by the CBA leaders . As per his own choice he allotted plots to some socalled leaders of Sramik League.
The declaration of allotment of plots announced on Monday keeping in blind to the Board members.
But the actual Sramik League leaders claimed that housing plots allotted to some socalled SL leaders are not real Sramik League leaders and they are involved with the politics of Jamaat-Shibir.
General secretary CDA Karmachari league Habibur Rahman said they will go for legal actions against this illegal allotment. CDA chairman allotted 50 plots on Monday which includes 45 plots given to CDA employees and 5 given to socalled SL leaders.
The socalled SL leaders get allotment are- Jainul Abedin, Abdur Rashid, Swapan Bowmik, Islam Khan, Md. Alamgir.
These five SL leaders are assigning in different posts of CDA Karmachari league. CDA sources said in 384th Board meeting in 2009, it was decided to allot 111 housing plots in favour of employees on No Loss and No Profit basis.
Mentionable that the CDA Karmachari league and the Sramik league CDA unit are struggling since long for allotment of these plots but on Monday, CDA chairman declared allotment of 50 plots on Monday including 5 plots to socalled SL leaders secretly.
While asked CDA chairman told the New Nation that as per govt policy and existing rules , these allotments were given and this was not informed to Board members because of govt decisions existing in this matter.
He further said as per existing govt rules and directives, these plots have been allotted rather nothing irregularities here.
