Irfan Sajjad and Sabila Nur first worked together as a pair in Ezaz Munna directed a play titled Prem-er Oligoli in last Eid. Though earlier they worked together in a serial but in that play for the first time they played in role of a pair on the screen.
After airing the play, director Ezaz Munna got positive response from all to cast Irfan and Sabila as a pair. As a result, Munna again selected them in his new serial titled Astha. Shooting of the first phase of the serial has already been in the city’s Uttara area recently.
Director Ezaz Munna informed that the serial will go on air on NTV on August 18. While talking about the serial he told this correspondent, “Conflicts are elsewhere in the society now. Everywhere there is lack of confidence. This lacking is also absent in our family life. For this reason, to bring back confidence in human life is the main theme of the story of the serial Astha. In fact, I believe only human being can bring back this confidence.”
Irfan Sajjad is playing the role of Arib in the serial. While talking about his role in the serial he said, “In a word, Munna Bhai is a dynamic director. He is such a director who takes preparation before giving direction. As a result, when there is more shots he can finish shooting timely. I am really impressed working with him. Sabila is doing well in acting. Viewers will enjoy my work with her in the serial.”
Sabila Nur shared her feelings by this way, “Working experiences with Munna Bhai is always good for me. He is not only an orgnaised director but also his unit is also works in organised way. I always prefer to work under such an organised unit. I am very much optimistic about the work.”
Irfan Sajjad acted different serials – Noi Chhoi on Maasranga TV, Community on Desh TV, Panchforeon and Orchid on Channel i – are being aired now. His acted two movies are Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar’s Mon Janena Moner Thikana and Alvi Ahmed’s U-Turn.
On the other hand, Sabila Nur acted two new serials are: Naznin Hasan Chumki’s Nogordola and Animseh Aich’s Bubun-er Shat Shotero.
