It is said that through a good movie popular face of the small screen Ireen Tany started her journey in the big screen. She debut her acting career opposite Shams Sumon through Badol Khondokar’s movie Bidrohi Padma. Later, she didn’t get the scope to work under any noted film director. For this reason, Ireen Tany was seen to act only in TV dramas. Last few years, she has become a popular face among the viewers to play the role of Suzana in Boishakhi TV’s ongoing serial
Bou Shwashuri. According to Tany, she has to select specific days for taking part in shooting of this serial. Ireen Tany informed that she has already acted in several numbers of movies. She acted in Golam Mostafa Shimul’s movie Lobon. She also acted in Kolkata’s Shankha Ghosh’s movie Maya. But she is waiting to get her mind-liking character and role.
While talking in this regard Ireen Tany said, “Bidrohi Padma was my acted first movie. Later, I didn’t get the scope to work in mentionable story and character based film. Like other actors, I am waiting to act in a good story and character based movie. But that cannot be happened quickly. Now I am regularly acting in TV
dramas and serials. I strongly believe one day I will act in a good story and role based film. I am waiting for this with huge patience.”
Meanwhile, few days ago, Ireen Tany celebrated her birthday. On the occasion of her birthday, a cake was cut on the shooting spot of Sajib Mahmud’s serial Hoi Choi Dotcom,
the actress also said.
