Trade value between Iran and Russia stood at 945 million U.S. dollars during the first half of 2018, Eghtesdaonline news website reported on Saturday.
The figure shows a 28.3-percent increase compared with the corresponding period of last year.
Russia exported commodities worth 629 million dollars to Iran during the six-month period.
The main imported goods from Russia were agricultural products, transportation machinery and equipment, articles made of wood and paper, metal and metal products, and chemicals.
Iran’s exports to its northern neighbor valued 316 million dollars, mainly including agri-food products, metals and metal products, chemicals and different kinds of machinery.
