Iranian Ambassador in Dhaka Dr Abbas Vaezi called on Jahangirnagar University Vice-Chancellor Prof Farzana Islam at her office on Monday.
They discussed strengthening mutual cooperation among JU and Iranian universities in the field of education and research.
The Iranian ambassador praised the university’s research activities in agriculture sector.
The Vice-Chancellor thanked the envoy for his visit to the university.
JU Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Abul Hossain and Treasurer Prof Abul Khair were present on the occasion, among others.
