Iran-Turkey trade hit 1.6 billion USD in 5 months

Iran and Turkey traded 1.47 million tons of non-oil commodities worth 1.60 billion U.S. dollars during the first five months (March 21-Aug. 22) of the current Iranian fiscal year, Eghtesadonline news website reported on Sunday.
The figures display a 1.23 percent boost in weight and 15.27 percent decline in value compared with last year’s corresponding period, according to the report.
Iran mainly exported kraft paper, non-alloy zinc, semi-finished non-alloy iron and steel products to Turkey during the five-month period.
Iran’s imports from Turkey mainly included data transmission devices, cooking bananas and auto parts.
