Int’l Yoga Day celebrated in Cox’s Bazar

Indian Assistant High Commission celebrated the 5th International Yoga Day in Cox’s Bazar, the tourism city of the Bangladesh, on Sunday.
Indian Assistant High Commissioner Anindya Banerjee was present at the event held at the hall room on Hotel sea Palace as the chief guest.
Kaniz Fatema Mostaque, MP, Indian Second High Commissioner Subhashish Sinha, Latanath Chatterjee, Partha Chowdhury, Trustee of Hindu Religious Welfare Trust Prof Preotosh Sharma Chandan and others were also present at the event.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a video message for the audiences of the event. In his message, Narendra Modi said that in order to keep peace, harmony and prosperity among the people of different nations, classes, community, rich and poor everyone can come under the same quote ‘Yoga’.
Hoping yoga will play an important role in keeping peace and prosperity in the world, he said, “Yoga for everyone and everyone for yoga.”
