The 13th International Plastic Fair-2018 (IPF-18) will begin on tomorrow (Wednesday) in the city aimed at displaying latest technology, machineries and additive colours of the plastic industry.
“Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed is likely to inaugurate the four-day fair at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC),” said President of Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPGMEA) M Jahsim Uddin at a press conference at its office in the capital on Monday. About 480 stalls in 15 categories from home and abroad will take part in the fair, he added.

“Bangladesh is in the 12th position in exporting plastic goods in the globe,” he said. Replying to a query, the BPGMEA president said plastic goods are hygienic and not harmful to the environment.
