National University has been nominated for ‘Best Regional University’ and its Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Harun-or-Rashid for ‘Manager of the Year’ Award 2014.
Oxford-based Europe Business Assembly (EBA, UK) has selected National University, Bangladesh for ‘Best Regional University’ Award and Professor Dr. Harun-or-Rashid as ‘Manager of the Year Award 2014’ on a careful evaluation of Universities across the globe in its recent meeting.
The main selection criteria of the above mentioned Awards were effective management programs implementation, original intellectual and technological innovations, and higher educational services rendering nationwide, implementing up-to-date technologies in running university administration and outstanding contributions in higher education at national and regional levels. The decision has been communicated to the NU Vice-Chancellor by Edward Shlezinger, Executive Project Coordinator of EBA Research Centre through e-mail. Professor Dr. Harun-or-Rashid has been invited to receive the Awards in an ‘EBA Achievements 2014’ ceremony to be held in Viena, Austria on December 30, 2014.
