A two day international conference on Business Research began Friday at East West University (EWU) at Aftabnagar in the city.
The Department of Business Administration of the university arranged the conference financially supported by World Banks Higher Education and Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP).
Chairperson of EWU Board of Trustees and former Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr Mohammed Farashuddin inaugurated the programme as the chief guest, said a press release.
Head of Accounting Department of La Trobe University, Australia, Professor Zahirul Hoque presented the keynote speaker.
Around 100 representatives from 31 from home and abroad are taking part in the conference.
More than 60 research papers will be presented at the conference.
