The Inter-Services Swimming, Water Polo and Diving Competitions began at Banani Army Swimming Complex in the city on Wednesday.
Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army Major General M Mahfuzur Rahman inaugurated the week-long meet as the chief guest.
On the opening day (Wednesday), 200-meter butterfly, 100-meter freestyle, 50-meter breaststroke, one-meter spring board diving and water polo competitions were decided. Finals of different events and prize distribution ceremony of the meet will be held on June 16.
