The Inter-Department Handball Competition of Jahangirnagar University (JU) kicked off at central playground on the campus here on Saturday.
JU Journalism and Media Studies Department won the inaugurating match defeating Law and Justice Department by 3-2 goals. JU Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Abul Hossain inaugurated the handball competition as the chief guest with president of Sports Management Committee Dr Abdullahel Kafi in the chair.
Director of JU Gymnasium Md Sifatullah delivered welcoming speech.
