Hefazat leader Mamunul remanded again

Court Correspondent :A Narayanganj court yesterday afternoon placed Hefazat-e-Islam leader Mamunul Haque on a three-day remand, responding to an appeal of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI). Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Farhana Ferdous of Narayanganj passed the order.Earlier, Court Police Inspector Asaduzzaman said that PBI showed now-defunct committee of Hefazat-e-Islam’s Joint Secretary General Mamunul Haque arrested in a case filed in connection with Hefazat’s violence and sought seven days’ remand.
