Industries Minister pays tribute to Bangabandhu

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun on Friday paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
After laying the wreath, the minister stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation.
Later, he offered doa seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975, reports BSS.
A special prayer was also offered wishing for longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder, MP, Secretary of the Ministry of Industries Zakia Sultana, Chairman of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Shah Md. Emdadul Haque, Additional Secretaries
of the Ministry of Industries Narul Alam, Janendranath Sarkar and SM Alam,
Joint Secretary Md. Abdul Wahed and senior officials of the ministry, among
others, were present.
