Indo-Bangla private sector’s joint investment in sub-Himalayan region stressed

Business leaders at a discussion have stressed joint investments of Bangladesh-India private sectors’ to set up industries for bolstering business, trade and commerce in the sub-Himalayan region.
They opined this at the discussion organised by Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) at RCCI auditorium here on Saturday night.
A delegation from Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) attended the function.
The discussion was arranged before the upcoming “CII 7th North Bengal Conclave” to be held at Siliguri city in India to focus on Investment, Export Promotion and Logistics for Northern West Bengal on December 21 next. The CII in association with West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation is organising the event aimed at promoting Northern West Bengal as business and investment destination.
Business delegations and entrepreneurs from eight northern districts of West Bengal and other parts of India along with Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal are expected to participate in the conclave and reach trade and joint investment deals in B2B meetings.
