A Dhaka court yesterday fixed October 9 to hold hearing in the case filed against BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia for observing fake birthday on August 15, the National Mourning Day.
Yesterday (Tuesday) was earlier fixed for hearing on the issue, but the defence lawyers pleaded to allow them time in the case. Accepting the defence plea, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Noor
reset the date, at the newly built court in Keraniganj Central Jail.
