Indian nat’l among six killed in road crashes

At least six people, including an Indian citizen, were killed and 22 others injured in separate road accidents in the district on Tuesday morning.

from Kolkata plunged into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering, killing two people on the spot and injuring 22 others.
Among the injured, Indian citizen Sushanta Manda, a resident of Barasha in India, died on the way to Faridpur Medical College and Hospital. Besides, a truck hit another brick-laden truck parked at Pulia Bazar in Bhanga on Dhaka-Mawa-Khulna Highway around 9am, killing two people on the spot and injuring another, said officer-in-charge of Bhanga Highway Police Md Ezazuddin. Of the injured, Rinku Bhuiyan, 28, of Shibchar died after he was admitted to a local hospital. The other deceased were identified as Milon Molla, 26, and Chan Mia, 35, residents of Shibchar in Madaripur.
