Indian envoy meets Khaleda

Outgoing Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pankaj Saran on Thursday met BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and discussed various bilateral issues.
The hour-long meeting that bean around 6:45pm was held at the BNP chief’s Gulshan residence.
BNP standing committee members Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, chairperson’s advisers Reaz Rahman and Sabihuddin Ahmed were present.
However, there was no briefing from either side about the meeting.
BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan said during the
 meeting Khaleda and Pankaj Saran discussed various issues relating to bilateral interests of the two nations.
She hoped that the friendly relations between the two neighbouring countries will be strengthened further in the days to come. The Indian envoy thanked the BNP chief for extending cooperating to him during his tenure in Dhaka.
