An Indian citizen has gone to Saudi Arabia using Bangladeshi passport.
Officials from Bangladesh Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) said, the Indian had prepared Bangladeshi passport from Rajshahi passport office recently.
He has flown to Saudi Arabia without disclosing the matter public.
Involved officials from the passport office hided out the relevant papers of the passport, but the incident has been proved in an internal investigation.
Seven officials involvement with the matter have been found in the inquiry.
Two of those officials have already been suspended.
ACC has filed a case against eight officials of the passport office in connection of the issue.
The name of the Indian national is Hafez Ahmed, son of Mohammad Hossain and Jainab Begum. He prepared the passport in October, 2017.
Mamunur Rashid, Assistant Director of ACC’s Head Office filed the case in its Rajshahi office.
