India piled up a massive total of 352 for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 50 overs against Australia in their match of the ICC World Cup Cricket at the Oval in London on Sunday. In reply, Australia scored 139 for the loss of two wickets in 26 overs till filing this report.
Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya shone with the willow.
Dhawan notched up a marvelous 117. His 109-ball innings laced with 16 fours.
Kohli hit a captain’s knock of 82. He struck four fours and two sixes in his 77-ball innings.
Rohit Sharma made a fine 57 from 70 balls featuring three fours and one six.
Pandya cracked a quick-fire 48 off 27 balls with three sixes and four fours.
MP Stoinis was the most successful bowler of Australia with two wickets conceding 62 runs.
Pat Cummins, Coulter-Nile and Mitchell Starc took one wicket apiece.
