The Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) has offered scholarships to meritorious Bangladeshi nationals under three scholarship schemes for the 2015-16 academic sessions.
The schemes are Bangladesh Scholarship Scheme, India Scholarship Scheme and Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme under which Bangladesh nationals will be able to pursue various courses in India at the undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels, except Medicine.
Candidates are required to have proficiency in English and should have secured minimum 60 percent marks or GPA 3 out of GPA 5 in the qualifying examination.
The application forms for the scholarships along with further information instructions could be downloaded from the website of the High Commission of India, Dhaka (www.hcidhaka.gov.in).
However, the hard copies of the application forms with supporting documents (duly certified) have to be submitted in duplicate at the time of interview along with six passport size photographs.
