The Northern Hatcheries Independence Day Inter Club Tennis Tournament began on Thursday at the Gulshan Youth Club Playground. Gulshan Youth Club has arranged the tennis meet under auspices of Northern Hatcheries. A total of 22 teams including 15 teams from Dhaka and rest seven from outside the capital are taking part in the tennis competition. The final of the tournament will be held on April 12.
The participating teams are: Azimpur Tennis Club, Army Officers’ Tennis Club, Bagerhat Tennis Club, Bangladesh Police Club, Bagha Club, Cox’s Bazar Tennis Club, Dutch Club, Engineers’ Recreation Club, Gulshan Club, Gulshan Youth Club A, B and C, Manikganj Tennis Club, Magura Tennis Club, Mymenisngh Club, Munshiganj President Raja Tennis Club, Navy Club, Netrokona Tennis Club, Officer’s Club Team 1 and 2, Parliament Members’ Club and Uttara Club.
It is noteworthy that The New Nation and Radio Today are media partners of the tournament.
