The Walton Independence Cup Football will begin on January 16 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Bangladesh Football Federation will arrange the football competition under auspices of Walton Group.
A total of 12 teams will take part in the football championship. They are: Dhaka Abahani Limited, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited, Chittagong Abahani Limited, Saif Sporting Club, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra, Brothers Union Limited, Team BJMC, Arambagh Krira Sangha, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, Rahmatganj MFS and Farashganj Sporting Club.
