Give Millions A Chance To Apply For Govt Jobs

Nazmul Hussen :
It is known from the government that now there is no session jam in Public and National universities as before. Then it is clear that if the sessions jam were already the same, then the age limit would have been increased. There are millions of young people and their wretched parents in the country demanding the age limit of entry into job increase till 35 years. In the 9th, 10th and 11th National Parliament several times the proposal was placed.
The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Public Administration had recommended it for five times so far. Besides, after the election, the State Minister of the Public Administration and before the election the Roads and Bridges Minister also promised to increase the entry age. On the other hand, the commitment to increase the age limit was also in the eleventh election manifesto of the ruling Awami League.
From the last decade those who have studied under National University and other universities have taken less than four years of valuable time due to session jam. Because of the jam, the state has snatched at least an average time of more than four years. The government should think about them seriously, how to give them a chance. There are many flaming proof of the session jam. Nobody is directly seeking employment or unemployment allowance to the government. New and old job seekers should be considered equally in view of the rationality and the reality in case of entry into the job.
Those who are infected with session jam and sick at least the state should be given them priority to provide treatment, rehabilitation and compensation. The state cannot waste the precious time of the students or their lives! Together, increasing the retirement age of 2 years in 2011, there was less recruitment notice. It’s just like killing the dead again. So where was enough opportunity? The government has to realize the silent torment, wailing and screaming of the unemployed youths.
Today the victims’ ages are around 35. Those who were SSC candidates from the last 2000 to 2011 were the most affected, deprived and neglected.
So I sincerely request to the government, if you do not allow 35-year age limit permanently, temporary or special equal opportunity; give the above mentioned unemployed youths a chance for at least two years to apply for government jobs. Besides, exposing the access to private sector will reduce unemployment and undoubtedly these victims will certainly find shelter for survival.
Millions of job seekers are expecting and hoping that the government will soon give this special opportunity to everyone as a fair and reasonable demand for job applications.
