Swimming training program has been inaugurated to save lives in Tarash of Sirajganj. The program was inaugurated at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Friday morning by Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Aziz MP, Member of Parliament for 64 Sirajganj 3 (Tarash Raiganj) constituencies. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mezbaul Karim presided over the inaugural function of the training conducted by the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs and implemented by the Sachetan Nagarik Society. Guests at the event commented that this swimming training is a timely program to save lives, reduce the risk of death of people including children and save them from the misfortune of drowning.
