Imran Ahmed pays tribute to Bangabandhu

Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed on Friday paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
After laying the wreath, the minister stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation.
Later, he offered doa seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975, reports BSS.
A special munajat was offered wishing sound health and long life of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He also signed the visitors’ book at the Tungipara Mausoleum Complex.
Secretary of the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Dr Ahmed Munirus Salehin, Managing Director of Probashi Kallyan Bank Md Mujibur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shahida Sultana, Additional Deputy Commissioner AKM Hedayetul Islam, General Secretary of District Awami League Mahbub Ali Khan, Vice-President of Tungipara Upazila Awami League Elias Hossain, its General Secretary Babul Sheikh, Municipal Mayor Sheikh Tozammel Haque Tutul, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Al Mamun, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Dedarul Islam, Municipal Awami League President Sheikh Saiful Islam were present, among others,on the occasion.
