HPWC memo to PM: Immediate implementation for Ctg Divn Hajj office urged

Hajj Pilgrims Welfare Council, Chittagong submitted 5-points memorandum to Prime Minister for through Divisional Commissioner, Chittagong yesterday for immediate commissioning of Divisional Hajj office at formerly existed Pahartali Haji camp following the recent consent of the PM to commission the existing haji camp as divisional Hajj office in Chittagong.
Following the demands like prayer, memorandums, human chains regarding Divisional Hajj office in Chittagong by the HPWC, Prime Minister recently agreed in principle to reconstruct the old infrastructures of Pahartali Haji Camp. Following the official consent of the Ministry of Religious Affairs on 27 June 2016 for decommissioning the Pahartali Haj camp, HPWC submits 5-point memorandum to Prime Minister including use of two newly multistoried building duly constructed by Islamic Foundation in the premises recently. Among others, President of HPWC Ahmadul Islam Chowdhury, Secretary General Principal Dr. Abdul Karim, Prof. Kazi Md. Shahdat Hossain, Shahjada Kaiser Mirza, Shafiqur Rahman, Dr. Saleh Ahmed Suleman, Prof. Dr.AKM Saifuddin, Principal Dr. Md. Nurul Amin, Advocate Dr. Md. Samiuddin, Alhaj Md. Sharif, Mamtaz Kamal Chowdhury, Dr. Iftekhauddin were present during submission of memorandum to Div. commissioner, HPWC sources said.
The 5-point demands of the memo include to commission Ctg divisional hajj office with deputation of officials from Religious ministry on emergency basis, use two newly constructed buildings of Islamic Foundation, one fourth of total hajj pilgrims management to entrust with Ctg hajj office as 26% pilgrims from Chittagong zone, to depute hundred hajj agencies of Chittagong to extend their services in Ctg haji camp and directives to ply the Chittagong based pilgrims to Jeddah through Shah Amanat International Airport.
