A discussion meeting and Doa Mahfil was held at International Islamic University (IIUC) on Thursday .
Dean of Science & Engineering Department Dr. Mohd. Delwar Hossain was present as Chief Guest in the national morning day discussion and Doa Mahfil .
He said that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman lead the Nation for achieving Independence .In 1975 Bangabandu sheik Mujibur Rahman was brutally killed along with other family Members by a group of disgruntled army persons.
The chief guest recalls with all due respect to the greatest bangalee of all time,father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members. The chief guest also told that the killers were able to kill Bangabandhu but they could not kill his dreams and ideals.
Dr. Farid Ahmed Sobhani, Dean of Business Studies presided over the discussion meeting. Registrar of IIUC Squadron leader (Retd.) mohd. Nurul Islam was present as Special Guest.
Among others were present in the meeting, director of URC Dr. BM Mofizur Rahman, Acting Director of PPD Mohiuddin Hossain ,Deputy Director of SDVSWD Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, Additional Director of Student Affairs division Mohammed Mamunur Rashid also spoke on the occasion.
